  • Supported global business transactions for therapeutic, diagnostic and cell-based products, including option-based discovery, development and commercialization deals, sponsored research agreements, and early stage research collaborations and evaluation agreements
  • Assisted in the establishment of strategic partnerships that included the companys major R&D alliances with Human Genome Sciences, Inc. and OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, and the integration of a mission-critical technology platform acquisition which greatly expanded GSKs compound screening capabilities
  • Served as a division counsel for a large international chemical company supporting the companys Specialty Chemicals and Global Procurement Groups
  • Handled development, license and commercialization agreements for novel technology used in the manufacture of alginate-based products for use in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications

  • Collaboration Agreement between Synlogic, Inc. and Ginkgo Bioworks to combine Ginkgo Bioworks’ automated foundry and expertise in high throughput organism screening and design with Synlogic’s expertise in discovery, translational and clinical development of synthetic biotic medicines to accelerate development of novel gut-based therapeutics
  • Evaluation and option agreement to evaluate novel chemical entity to use in combination with client’s existing antibiotic in an effort to offer superior therapeutic options for the treatment of certain bacterial infections
  • Exclusive license agreement between Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute and Odylia Therapeutics, Inc. for the therapeutics directed against specific linear nucleotide sequence, with application against certain diseases such as Leber's congenital amaurosis 6
  • Sponsored research agreements and advice with respect to several unique research arrangements with academic institutions for new biotech, including a strategic sponsored research agreement with the University of Pittsburgh
  • AstraZenecas collaboration with Human Longevity, Inc. to sequence and analyze up to 500,000 DNA samples from AstraZenecas clinical trials for genomic-focused research
  • Sponsored research agreement for a biotechnology company in its efforts to work with an academic institution to identify, optimize and/or develop novel therapeutics for the treatment of partial androgen insensitivity (PAIS)
