Faber Daeufer & Itrato recently expanded its administrative team with the addition of Sarah Hamilton and Sheronda Jackson-Skipper as Document Production Specialists. The firm hopes to continue to grow its technical capabilities and capacity to handle increasingly complex document production, in order to support the growth of the firm’s complex transactional practice.  Hamilton and Jackson-Skipper will work with the firm’s attorneys, contract specialists, and paralegals to ensure the timely completion of all word processing and document production requests.

With more than 40 years of combined experience working in law firm settings, and both coming from AmLaw 100 firms, Hamilton and Jackson-Skipper bring a high level of skill and knowledge about document production to the firm.

For both new hires, Faber provides a different atmosphere from the big law environments where they previously worked. “I wanted to be in a smaller law firm and the people that interviewed me made me feel that I was already a part of the Faber team,” said Jackson-Skipper.

The firm’s size was also a consideration for Hamilton, along with its unique areas of specialization. She said that Faber’s intelligent website and social media presence appealed to her as well. Hamilton was also impressed with Faber’s vast and thoughtful philanthropic commitments. “I came to really admire it, and it helped me decide that the firm’s culture was something special and something I wanted to be a part of.”

Jackson-Skipper said that the firm’s philanthropic outreach also influenced her decision to join Faber. “I saw that they are very dedicated and mindful and give back to both the global and local community in many ways.”

Looking forward, Hamilton said that there is a lot to learn, but she hopes that her contributions will help to ease the load for both the firm’s attorneys and other firm staff as they work with varying types of documents and technology. Jackson-Skipper also aspires to be an asset to the administrative team and looks forward to the personal and professional growth that she hopes to experience in her new position.

Suzann Thomas is Director of Finance and Operations at Faber. She said, “Both Sarah and Sheronda bring over 20 years of law firm experience providing document production and customer service to attorneys and firm staff. We’re looking forward to them strengthening our Admin group by increasing our capacity to support our attorneys and contract specialists, adding more talent and experience to the firm.”

Hamilton and Jackson-Skipper will both be based out of the firms newly expanded New York City office, which opens April 25th.
